CASE HISTORY: Dairy - Milk Processing Facility             Flooring Overlay             Oklahoma City, Oklahoma	Installation Bulletin

 BACKGROUND

• This badly deteriorated 20,000 square foot concrete processing plant floor was coated with ES-4024 DLX, medium gray, polyurea based spray elastomer, as a protective overlay system. Installation was made at 36°F.

 INSTALLATION

• Entire concrete surface area was steel shot blasted and ground in order to remove existing contaminates and prepare surface for coating application.
• Construction joints and random cracks were saw cut out then filled according to manufacturer specifications, with ES-2100 Elastofast 90, polyurea joint sealant.
• All surfaces, including prepared cracks and joints, were primed.
• Polyurea spray elastomer coating was applied at approximately 40 mils, nominal thickness.
• Facility was re-opened for operation 24 hours after installation.
